Following the attacks on late Mehmet Salih Tatlıcı’s grave and “mafiatic” death threats to the grieving family he left behind, the protection order, ruled by the 11th Family Court of Istanbul, is extended once again. Meanwhile, the warnings and admonitions for Mehmet Tatlıcı and his accomplice, Murat Yüce, were repeated by the same court. Mehmet Tatlıcı’s objections to this ruling, on the other hand, were dismissed once again by the same court.

In addition to harassments and threats towards the grieving family late businessman Mehmet Salih Tatlıcı left behind after his demise ten years ago, there are 15 criminal complaints, filed with unjust, unlawful and ungrounded claims, all of which were dismissed with decisions of non-prosecution, and numerous cases that were similarly grounded on baseless accusations, which resulted in exonerations.

MEHMET TATLICI REMAINS ON THE FOREFRONT

Unfortunately, the name Mehmet Tatlıcı stands out in the background of everything that has been done to this grieving family (particularly Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı) and he is a member of the same family himself (For detailed information, please see: “Mehmet Tatlıcı Completed the Dozen”; “Mehmet Tatlıcı Renewed His Record” and “What Does Mehmet Tatlıcı Want from Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı?” news articles).

MEHMET SALİH TATLICI’S DEATH AND HIS WILL

Mehmet Salih Tatlıcı signed off on many great projects and stood out amongst the businessmen in our country, after starting his business life from scratch, thanks to his perseverance, patience and hardworking nature. He was recalled with the most successful business people across the world with his prudent investments. Besides his professional accomplishments and fruitful life story, Mehmet Salih Tatlici was also known for his donations to charities and his philanthropic character.

When he passed away on February 22nd, 2009, he left a substantial inheritance to his wives, children and grandchildren from his two marriages.

The inheritance of the late businessman was distributed according to his official will, where he disinherited his sons Ahmet Tatlıcı and Ali Tatlıcı from his first marriage (for it is claimed that they threatened their father with death) and he decreed that his other son, Mehmet Tatlıcı, from the same marriage and his grandchildren benefit from the inheritance as per their reserved shares. The rest of his inheritance, on the other hand, was left to his second wife Nurten Tatlıcı and his other son, Uğur Tatlıcı, from this marriage.

WHO IS MEHMET TATLICI?

Mehmet Tatlıcı is one of the three sons of late businessman Mehmet Salih Tatlici, born from his marriage to Bedriye Tatlici (who was his own maternal aunt’s daughter), which was his first marriage. As we explained above, Mehmet Tatlıcı is one of the heirs of Tatlıcı family, who was decreed to benefit from the inheritance as per his reserved share, for that was what his father wished in his official will. Mehmet Tatlıcı, whose reserved share only is said to be worth millions of dollars, is also an heir, who lost all the cases he filed to revocate the official will of his late father Mehmet Salih Tatlici and for the redistribution of the inheritance.

WHAT MEHMET TATLICI DOES TO HIS OWN FATHER, WIFE AND CHILDREN AND RELEVANT NEWS ON MEDIA

The very same Mehmet Tatlıcı also draws attention as a person, who is constantly a hot topic on media with the articles in newspapers, concerning everything he does against his family members, who carry the same last name as himself, including his wife of 25 years and his own children, in addition to Mehmet Salih Tatlici, who gave him the luxurious life he lives today and all the wealth he could (For detailed information about this, please see: “The Son: Plaintiff – Deceased Father: Suspect”; “What Kind of Father is This?”; “Mehmet Tatlıcı First Eavesdropped, Then Divorced His Wife”; “Mehmet Tatlıcı is Sued for Battery” and “Secret Project Comes out of Divorce Case” news articles).

FINAL WARNINGS AND ADMONITIONS FROM THE FAMILY COURT TOWARDS MEHMET TATLICI

The topic of our news article today is the decision of the 11th Family Court of Istanbul, ruled on May 15th, 2019, stating that the defendants Mehmet Tatlıcı and Murat Yüce (who is an ex-convict with his name being mentioned in official records of some cases and prosecution’s investigations, as he took actions in the past by Mehmet Tatlıcı’s side) shall not speak or behave in manners that include violence, threat, insult, harassment and humiliation towards Nurten Tatlıcı, second wife of late businessman Mehmet Salih Tatlıcı, and Uğur Tatlıcı, his youngest son from this marriage (also Mehmet Tatlıcı’s step brother, for they have the same father); shall be warned to not be in closer proximity than 50 meters to Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı and their residences and workplaces and shall be warned against disturbing Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı through means of communication and in the event of their violation of these verdicts, there will be compulsory imprisonment between 3 days to 10 days, even if their actions represent a separate crime and 15 days to 30 days in case of the recurrence of the crime.

The court also extended its verdict to take Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı under state protection.

In fact, this ruling of the 11th Family Court of Istanbul was a repetition of the ones, ruled on January 15th, 2019 and March 15th, 2019.

WHY DID THE FAMILY COURT RULE FOR THE WARNING AND ADMONITION TOWARDS MEHMET TATLICI?

The real reason as to why the 11th Family Court of Istanbul ruled such a verdict was the “mafiatic” threat, targeting the second wife of the late businessman, Nurten Tatlıcı, along with his youngest son, Uğur Tatlıcı, in addition to the nefarious attack on his grave. Following the threatening message, the court ruled for the warnings towards Mehmet Tatlıcı and Murat Yüce (whose name was mixed up with some cases and criminal complaints built on baseless accusations from Mehmet Tatlıcı, targeting Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı) and in the event of their violations, they shall be imprisoned.

SO WHAT HAPPENED?

Aside from the investigations of our news crew, the Turkish media also underlined that the nefarious attack to the grave of late businessman Mehmet Salih Tatlıcı and the mafiatic threat messages to his family, as well as the posts of Murat Yüce on his social media accounts reveal the following facts:

Nurten Tatlıcı, who had been grieving for late businessman Mehmet Salih Tatlıcı since the day he passed away, starts every day with a visit to his grave. On the morning of December 20th, 2018, as she was conducting her daily visit, Nurten Tatlıcı saw a photograph of herself and her son, Uğur Tatlıcı, attached with a knife on Mehmet Salih Tatlici’s tombstone…

“MAFIATIC” THREAT MESSAGES

This ugly attack towards the respectable businessman and the family he left behind actually made more sense with the note that was also attached on the photograph. Attached on an image of Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı, taken at the burial of Mehmet Salih Tatlici, the note read the following statements written by an anonymous hand:

“You will be crying for so long!!” and “This inheritance will not belong to anyone!!!”

Therefore, it was immediately understood that this “mafiatic” threat, carried out via a stabbed photograph on the grave of late Mehmet Salih Tatlıcı on December 20th, 2018 by some anonymous hands, was directly targeting Nurten Tatlıcı and her son, Uğur Tatlıcı, threatening them with their deaths.

THE THREATS TO UĞUR AND NURTEN TATLICI WERE NOT NEW

On the date of November 8th, 2018, just a while ago, the officers, who were doing their routine checks in the graveyard, found the letter A, scratched on the tombstone of Mehmet Salih Tatlıcı with an apparently sharp object. Right next to his grave, on the other hand, lies Sultan Hanım, mother of Mehmet Salih Tatlici, whose tombstone was also violated with quite an ugly swearword…

MURAT YÜCE WAS OFTEN CROSSING PATHS WITH NURTEN TATLICI

Before all these developments even, there were witnesses, who saw that this person called Murat Yüce was frequently encountering Nurten Tatlıcı, as she was visiting her husband’s grave. For example, he appeared before Nurten Tatlıcı all of a sudden on September 28th, 2018, and said “I came to pray for the soul of late Mehmet Salih Bey”. It also did not seem like a “usual” case, when he passed by her without saying a word, after basically “lurking” around and waiting for Nurten Hanım to show up, then walking up to another grave and act like he was “praying” there.

As a result of the harassments of this ex-convict called Murat Yüce, who knowingly and willingly disturbs Nurten Tatlıcı, Nurten Tatlıcı’s driver wrote his statement on October 13th, 2018 to submit to the Public Prosecution’s Office in Istanbul against Murat Yüce.

THE DECISION OF 11TH FAMILY COURT OF ISTANBUL REGARDING THE STATE PROTECTION FOR UĞUR AND NURTEN TATLICI

Upon these developments, the 11th Family Court of Istanbul ordained a state protection for Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı on the date of January 15th, 2019. The same court also ruled a warning for Mehmet Tatlıcı and Murat Yüce, whose paths somehow “crossed” in this case as well, claiming that they shall not speak or behave in manners that include violence, threat, insult, harassment and humiliation towards Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı and not be in closer proximity than 50 meters to Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı and their residences and workplaces.

MURAT YÜCE CONTINUED HIS THREATS OVER SOCIAL MEDIA AS WELL

Still, despite these court rulings, Murat Yüce continued his threats over his own social media account, with who knows whose guidance or what kind of a motivation drives him to do so. According to the investigations of our news crew, the following statements were included in the social media posts of Murat Yüce, along with some of the photographs he has taken at the graveyard, where Mehmet Salih Tatlıcı is also buried: “Always keep death on your mind, for the only truth in this lying world is DEATH itself”.

THE FAMILY COURT REPEATED WARNINGS AND ADMONITIONS TOWARDS MEHMET TATLICI AND MURAT YÜCE

Murat Yüce, whose path has crossed with that of Mehmet Tatlıcı in the past, has personally delivered his threats to Nurten Tatlıcı by somehow confronting her, as well as via his social media account. Upon his insistence on such messages, 11th Family Court of Istanbul ruled an additional verdict on March 15th, 2019, and extended the state protection of Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı for another month, in accordance with the injunction that has been ruled before, on grounds that the death threats towards Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı still persist.

MEHMET TATLICI AND MURAT YÜCE WERE WARNED AND ADMONISHED BY THE SAME FAMILY COURT ONCE AGAIN

In the meantime, warnings and admonitions against both Mehmet Tatlıcı and Murat Yüce are kept valid too; they shall not be in closer proximity of Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı than 50 meters and shall not disturb them, within the framework of the recorded death threats against them. The final verdict of the Family Court also proves it and the last court ruling, which is the topic of today’s news article, is yet another evidence:

As is stated above, the 11th Family Court of Istanbul repeated its verdicts against defendants Mehmet Tatlıcı and Murat Yüce on the date of May 15th, 2019, stating that they shall be warned and admonished. Similarly, the court ruled that the death threats towards Uğur and Nurten Tatlıcı persisted and that the state protection for them shall be extended for another month.

THE SAME COURT REJECTED MEHMET TATLICI’S OBJECTIONS

Mehmet Tatlıcı’s objections against this decision, ruled by the 11th Family Court of Istanbul, claiming that “he had nothing to do with it” were also dismissed by the same court with the justification that “the ruling was in accordance with the laws”.
